Motivation is the reason why we start things, and the reason why we keep going. It’s made up of what we want, what we believe is possible, and what the outcome will be if we succeed or fail. When we are motivated, we show up with more energy, more focus and more resilience when things get challenging. Motivation is what drives us forward.

Jeremy Doran

Jeremy is the founder of NeuroConversant Leadership and a leadership coach and trainer with 18 years of experience developing managers and leaders across a range of industries. His background spans both the technical and strategic sides of business — from leading process re-engineering at Pratt & Whitney to coaching country managers across Europe on global market strategy while based in Italy with APC, now Schneider Electric. Those experiences, in environments where communication, culture, and leadership style varied enormously, shaped the foundation of everything he teaches: that the most common friction in teams rarely comes from lack of skill or effort, but from leaders and team members working from different assumptions about how communication works. He is currently completing his first book, How to Be NeuroConversant.
